Day 11: The Freezer

Ok, so I am still behind, but I am definitely getting caught up this weekend. I am still amazed that (even being behind) that my home has come so far. Getting organized is actually becoming a part of my subconscious. Today, when I was waiting to pay at the doctor's office, I actually started taking out cards from my wallet that were expired or were unused items. I didn't even think about... I am just constantly purging and donating, purging and donating... It is WoNdErFuL! I am really starting to understand the saying that "less is more" - my home is feeling homier than ever! :)

So here is my freezer (do not ask about the expiration dates I saw in there because I'm not telling!)...

My 2 kids and their friends at a playdate yesterday... Getting behind in organizing is FuN sometimes, too!

Before

Yuck.

And more yuck.

Not yuck anymore! I took everything out, cleaned, moved my shelf up higher, purged the expired food, and sorted my food.

Ice trays and meat are on the bottom (so meat grossness doesn't drip on anything and it can't get in the ice cube trays), frozen veggies fill up the majority of my fridge, and the ice bucket...

The door holds the bread and the ice packs for Eli's lunch box.

Oh, and Kate got her first shots today. How pitiful is she!? :(
The laundry closet and spice rack better watch out! I'm coming after you next!!! - KP
