What's it like...

to fall off the face of the earth for a while? It's wonderful. :) Sam and I have unplugged even more than usual this summer. It has been refreshing!

So for the three people who read my blog (ha!), I'm going to post a few summer updates for you!

We got to visit with our friend John during Impact this summer. :)

Father's Day was a lot of fun! The kids got Sam a Little Critters book called Just Me and My Dad and a new UT pool towel. I made him breakfast in bed.

We took Eli to his first Sounds game. Kacy watched Kate.

Kacy got Kate this sweet bathing suit in New York. :)

Someone is obsessed with Poppy's homemade ice cream!

He licks every drop out of the bowl! And don't you just love his "muffin top"!? :)

We took the kids to see Sesame Street Live! Eli was mesmerized. Even Kate was bouncing to the beat of the music. They had such a great time!!!

Haha - not our best family picture!

Eli was trying to imitate all of their dances. It was so cute!

We had a play date with Brooklyn, Bear, & Boden.

Seriously, Kate is the happiest baby I have ever met in my life.

These two have a common love for this toy. They play with it every day. Eli tells Kate "bye" and then crawls through the gate, which Kate thinks is the funniest thing in the world. :) This goes on over and over again.

Since Sam has class twice a week and is gone for the whole day and since it is so stinkin' hot, I've had to get creative on outings that don't involve sweating! A trip to the mall for a cupcake was a great diversion from our normal day to day activities!

Kate even had fun! Pretty girl!

So that's some of the stuff we were up to in June! I've also been working on developing some "school" for Eli. I need to post about that and about the fun we had in July!
