The Royal Wedding

Today was the big day for Prince William and Kate Middleton. The wedding was absolutely beautiful. Fit for a prince and princess for sure...

The two thoughts that stuck with me today...

1) Every woman should feel like a princess on their wedding day. I know I did. So I guess Princess Kate and I aren't all THAT different from one another.

We were so excited to be married that we gave each other a big ole bear hug after we kissed.
See? They like to give each other big ole bear hugs, too.

I am really so happy for them. There is nothing as wonderful as marrying the person you love and starting your life together. I wish them the best!

2. I was watching Kate's wedding as I was sitting on the couch holding my very own Kate. However, I want it to be clear that I did not name my Kate after William's Kate. She is named after my grandmother. Another important point - my Kate is also a princess.

3. Apparently, things British must be on our hearts and minds today. Eli is slightly obsessed with a key element of British culture - Thomas the Train.

Playing with Percy

I'm not sure if this video will work or not, but if you'd like to see Eli playing with his trains... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izVyU_h-1ts.

Happy Royal Wedding Day to you!
