Master Bedroom

I thought I would show you one of the projects I have been working on lately. As I've been reorganizing my entire house, I realized that I had half-way finished every room. SO... for the last few days, I have been working on putting the finishing touches on our Master bedroom, and I am pleased to say that it is 99% finished. Here is a glimpse...

Since the room is small, I hung a mirror as our headboard. I also had a canvas print framed and have it hanging now. It's a Norman Rockwell print that my husband gave to me for our first anniversary. In the print, a couple is signing their marriage certificate on June 11, 1955 - Sam and I were married 50 years later on June 11, 2005. Best gift ever? Yes. Here's a link to see it close up.
Here is Kate's "nursery." I need to change out the pictures in the frames on the wall. Right now, they are black and whites of Eli, me holding Eli for the first time, and Sam holding Eli for the first time. I have to get Kate up there today!
Here is more of Kate's space. Changing table, bows, etc. And of course, beautiful Kate is present in this picture. You can also see in the hall where I have started work on another project that I am sure I will blog about in a few days once it is finished.
Here is another project I'm working on...
Eli helped me pull out the pegs. Sam helped me sand it. Now I'm just waiting on my Ebay to arrive and I can show you this finished project...
Now I'm off to print pictures of Kate for our bedroom!
