March Projects

You may be thinking I've turned into the laziest SAHM in the world. I promise I'm not like that all time, though!!! I've been working on several projects this month. Since Eli is playing and Kate is trying to sleep away her fever (boo for sick babies!), I thought I'd give you a glimpse at what I've been working on...

Hanging out on my porch and sanding, sanding, sanding... Shortly, this will become the most beautiful coat rack you've ever seen. :)

I've been creating a home management binder. It has taken a lot of work, but I'm feeling so organized!!!

I'm hoping to get a label maker for my birthday next month. If I do, you'll be able to see the labels on my dividers a little bit better. My labels will read: Scheduling (calendar, menu planning, and cleaning checklist), Contacts (phone numbers and addresses, including all emergency phone numbers), To Do, Ideas (for decorating, crafts for me and kids, etc.), Kids (schedules, notes for babysitters, CPR instructions, parenting resources), Wish Lists (gift ideas for us and others, sizes and measurements of our family), Travel (packing checklist, auto maintenance log), and Businesses (business cards, take out menus, gym info.).

I'm also working on organizing our medical papers.

These tabs read: Sam, Kristina, Eli, Kate, Billing, Pediatrician, Dentist, Eyes. This way I can keep up with the medical procedures that are done on each of us as well as all billing issues. It's nice to have an organized paper trail.

My next project is organizing our finances in a binder. Check out Dave Ramsey's budget plan. Free budgeting forms are HERE.  I'll tell you what we are working on for April's budget in an upcoming post!

What are you organizing today???
