Crafting: Notecards

Is there something in this world more awesome than being a mom? I really can't think of anything that beats this! I've We've always talked about having 4 children. You see, the plan goes like this... We have 2 children close in age, and then we wait several years and have 2 more children close in age. The logic is that both "sets" of kids will have a sibling close in age that they can play with, but that my husband and I stay younger longer by having kids at home until we are in our 50s. Because you can't get old when you are still chaperoning church camp and Impact, right? This. is. the. perfect. plan.

Except tonight when I'm rocking my sweet little boy to bed, and the thought hits me. We are half-way done with having children. Which means I suddenly have the strongest desire to have 24 children. My husband is going to kill me.

After you see these next few pictures, your husband is going to want to kill you, too. Be prepared to want to birth many, many children after you see this cuteness.

She is days away from rolling over. And I swear she is days away from crawling, too. She literally scooted forward today when I put her down for tummy time. My baby is growing up too fast!
She is our little love-dove. I just love her eyes.
I've been trying to teach Eli that being messy is ok, so we painted with shaving cream. He is our little neat freak. After he touched the shaving cream, he looked at me and screamed, "Napkin!!!!!!"
A successful transition to the big boy car bed. He cried during his nap the first 2 days, but slept great at night every night! Now, he loves his new bed! Soon, Kate will be sharing a room with Eli, and she will be in the crib. I'm still a little nervous about this!!!
Eli showing the teacher at the zoo where his ears are :)
And his nose :)
I've been crafting. I made these notecards as a birthday present for my sweet friend, Elisha. I LOVE how they turned out. My husband thinks she won't like them, because the cards are lacking any mention of the Braves and she is the biggest Braves fan ever. I hope she likes them anyway!!! At least I had a lot of fun making them!
All wrapped and ready to deliver!
Happy Thursday! It's almost the weekend - hope you've got something exciting planned!

  5. Ok... I'll say it again.... You're one brave mamma. Painting with shaving cream? Elizabeth doesn't like getting her hands dirty, either!
